VISUAL IDENTITY

CONTEXT

SIA “RUC” consists of a couple of very strong and fearless local dudes with a bold mission—to ascend trees and trim branches. To etch a memorable image for their clients, I was enlisted to craft the company’s logo and business cards, intended as a token for tree owners post a job well done.

OBJECTIVE

The goal was to design a straightforward logo and simple business cards that, at a glance, would convey their occupation and provide a readily visible contact number.

OUTCOME

The result materialized into a simple logo featuring top view of a sawn tree trunk, complete with distinct growth rings, and a small sprout emerging. The business cards were fashioned from coarse, textured paper, featuring a transparent lacquered logo fragment on one side.

Whether these guys triumphed in establishing their company or eventually ventured down separate paths remains unknown to me. Nevertheless, the logo and business cards to me stand out as one of my favorite projects.
